Patriotic Patterns: Stars & Stripes
In anticipation of a faaaabulous fourth of July, Aida hired me to paint a specialty mix of Americana stars and stripes. As much as I want her manicure to last for 10 more days (2 weeks total) I think she might need a touch-up before the fireworks! You hear that, Aida? Call me for a touch-up giiiirl!

I wish I could say that Spice World served as inspiration, but it was only my love for the U.K.that created this set ❤ I fell in love when I visited Britain for the first time in 4th grade, in January of 2000. That love involved ice cream at Harrod’s, Curly Wurly Squirlies, Toblerones, Phantom of the Opera, and Dr. Marten. I actually just found my travel journal from that trip! I neeed to go back.

Red Sox Game Day Nails
On Saturday, my sister Rachel (of Mercier Beaucoup) treated my whole family to a Red Sox game in honor of Mama’s Day!! Her boyfriend hooked us up with some siiick tickets right behind home plate. Needless to say, he’s a keeper! So, for my first game of the season, I decided to rep #34, the one, the only: Big Papi! He didn’t play in the game, but David Ortiz is a BOSS. So… whatever, I had to.
Another thing I had to do? Represent the team’s official sponsor and sport my Budweiser dress! My sister said I looked like Christina Applegate as Kelly Bundy from Married With Children, which I looooved! I could not have been more flattered, IF I tried.
On Sunday, Rachel made the most delicious french toast and fruit salad for brunch. Then, Kelsey and I went shopping for her college graduation outfits! I always love to see my sisters, and it’s always hard to say goodbye.
Well, my lovlies, that’s all for now. I’m finished with finals on Wednesday, so I can’t promise much before then, but I’ll surely try. I cannot waaait to legitimize my nail art business this summer, and I appreciate your support now more than ever!
